Miracle week

MONDAY: Nothing too crazy happened this day. We went thrifting, and played volleyball as a district. We knocked doors after that and met a cool Muslim guy which was cool. 

TUESDAY: Such an awesome day!! We had a fun district meeting with the Sister Training Leaders and Zone Leaders. AND THEN we blitzed the area which is where the whole district and zone leaders work one area for the day. We found some friends from doing this which was so awesome! We had an awesome lesson with our friend Mark, we read from the Book of Mormon and related it to his life and he loved it. Pray we can start meeting with him more consistently. We also had a lesson with Fernando! He says he keeps falling asleep while reading the Book of Mormon but he read the restoration pamphlet we gave him and came with questions which was so awesome! Pray Fernando can stay awake while reading! 

WEDNESDAY: This day was amazing! We started off the day with planning and setting goals. We prayed over our goals to get ideas and guidance for the day. The spirit brought to our minds the color blue, the direction right, and swimming. We went through our day looking for anything that related to these ideas. We knocked on blue houses. Followed a blue sign, talked to people with blue decor in their yard. It kinda felt like a fun game. As we went through our day the Lord led us to an area. We saw someone who was walking down the street and then saw them a little later so we decided to go talk to them. They weren't interested but on our way back to our car we saw a blue building. We walked towards the building but no one was around, we walked a little further and saw someone in their car. We talked to the person in their car who wasn't interested but when we looked to our right I saw an infrastructure that looked like a swimming pool glass building! I asked sister Atkins “is that a swimming pool?!” When a big shirtless guy came ascending out of the water in Moto Moto action! If you know you know. We immediately walked over to the pool and looked around when sister Atkins led us behind these bushes next to the building and to the right of these bushes was this man wearing a blue shirt!! WHAT! We talked to this guy about the Tabernacle Choir since he grew up listening to it with his parents! We talked about family and during our daily planning we planned to share the promise from God that everyone will get the opportunity to have a loving family whether in this life or the next. When we gave him this promise he started crying! We said that we knew God led us to him and he said “I can tell you he definitely did.” He said I really needed to talk to y'all today. We gave him information for church even though he said he's not in a spot to go to church right now. I know we needed to talk to him that day and it built my testimony on following the spirit always! This is your reminder to follow the spirit.♡

THURSDAY: We had a Q and A lesson with Fernando and talked more about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. He's beginning to like Joseph Smith a little more! 

FRIDAY: We did our goals and planning and God guided us to another one of his children! We had an awesome lesson with him. We then met our new friend Marylin and had another awesome lesson. We brought a member with us and they are friends now which is awesome! And then we helped her hang up her curtains. We later had a lesson with Trenton (he's an interesting one for sure) we talked to him about the Restoration and Joseph Smith. Except I don't think he was listening because when we asked what he liked or learned from the lesson he started talking about Joseph Smith running away from angels… sooo, we had to clarify some things. 

SATURDAY: We started off the day with a lesson with Tara which went okay. While we were talking and teaching her she seemed to zone out but she loved talking to us about other things. Pray she can have the desire to learn more. And then we went to Fernando's house and had a lesson. As we were walking up to Fernando's garage (where we have our lessons) something felt off. When we got into his garage he was watching an anti video!! Ahhh. He told us about how all the sudden everyone is coming at him with negative information about the church. It started with his neighbors telling him stuff after they saw us walking out from our last visit. And then another friend called him up and asked how he's been, and Fernando said he's been meeting with missionaries and learning more which has been bringing him a lot of joy and peace into his life and then his “FRIEND” anti-ed him… and then everything on his phone has been blowing up with anti. So basically Fernando is progressing so much that Satan sent everything he's got at him. We talked about good sources and he said that he wants to learn from the source! Pray Fernando can learn more and keep finding that joy and peace through the gospel.

We were supposed to have volleyball this night but it got cancelled. Our friend Elayla usually goes to volleyball night so when it was canceled they texted us for a lesson! We had a fun lesson where we played a game and related it back to the gospel. She loved it so much she wanted to meet with us the next day! Sadly they had plans so we couldn't. But it was a miracle volleyball got canceled! 

SUNDAY: Nothing too interesting happened this day, but church is always awesome! We got to sit in on young women's which is the actual best! 

MONDAY: We had to work since we are going to the temple on Tuesday this week. But we filled our day full of member lessons and service. Highlight of my day was heart attacking Amanda. She called us to come back and give her a hug! She told us that we will never know how much she really needed that. I love how even small and simple things can be so huge in someone else's life♡

TUESDAY: 

We got to go to the Kansas City Missouri Temple!! Ahhh, I love the temple so much and feel so blessed I got to go. It was the best preparation day yet!
