Who gave this girl a Tiwi?

MONDAY: This day was way fun! Since we are in a Sistrict (a district with mostly sisters) we all decided to go thrifting and shopping in downtown Newton! I got the cutest ring from a fun flea market!

TUESDAY: Something eventful this day was while I was driving, I needed to adjust the rear view mirror to see better out the back. As I was adjusting the mirror, it fell off in my hands! LOL I gave sister Larsen the mirror and we drove to into a Walmart parking lot. We called the vehicle coordinator and he said to make an appointment and we would be fine to keep driving without the mirror. So we were mirrorless for a while. Something awesome this day was we had the BEST lesson with Marco! We talked about the plan of salvation, he had so many questions answered, and the spirit was so strong!

WEDNESDAY: We got to visit a member who doesn't come to church much anymore. She was baptized a few years ago and kind of just stopped coming. She is the sweetest lady ever, and our visits with her always lift my spirits. We invited her to church and she said she wanted to come! We had a couple lessons fall through but we got to visit with some members who were there for the lesson so that was fun! We also got to invite a salesbro to church! We saw him walking door to door so we talked to him and said we are doing the same thing, and talked about Jesus Christ! We gave him our card and he said he would check it out.

THURSDAY: Not much happened this day other than we got our rear view mirror fixed. After a couple days of driving without it I may need to relearn to use it again while I'm driving haha. Also each car has this system called Tiwi that tracks your speed and driving to make sure that you are driving safely in the mission vehicles and there is a card that every missionary gets that they use to login to the Tiwi so it tracks each driver. Something super fun is Sister Larsen has a bunch of stickers and she let me use them to decorate and customize my Tiwi card!

FRIDAY: The weather was kind of crazy this day but we had a lesson planned with a new friend in the morning at the church. Because of mission rules we have to be in a public area for lessons with the opposite gender unless we have a female with us. We couldn't find a woman to come so we brought our friend brother Stamps and planned on sitting outside for our lesson. As we were in our lesson it started raining so we all moved under the deck of the church. As we were having this lesson is started pouring, hailing, and thundering. It was such a spiritual and fun lesson! We got to teach someone the gospel and sit on the steps of the church to watch the storm (in true Kansan fashion). The rest of this day lowkey got cooked by the weather! We were stuck inside all day because the storm turned into a tornado watch. So we couldn't go out and do lessons or knock. So we pretty much did some phone call lessons, called some referrals, and studied our scriptures.

SATURDAY: We had an awesome lesson with Marco and we got to knock. We got stuck at a sweet old ladies house because she was telling us her whole life story but she probably told us her story 3 times because she kept forgetting what details she told us so she just kept yapping. This unfortunately happens often haha, we call them the Kansas Yapper. I also got my first aggressive driving from Tiwi this day… pray I don’t get any more. Also we got transfer news this day! And I'm transferring again! WHAT. Going into my 3rd transfer and my 3rd area! I'm so sad to be leaving this area and all of our friends but I know that Gods plan will always be better than mine. We transfer on Tuesday so the next couple days will be me trying to get everything packed.

SUNDAY: We said our goodbyes to the ward members and our friends. We helped our neighbor plant some flowers and garden in her garden. Hit me up if you ever need help planning cucumber plants.

Fun/Funny moments
♡ The quad did a megabed sleep over for docdrop/transfer news.
♡ We went for a couple runs around the park.
♡ I lost my keys when they were right in front of my face.
♡ We taught Marco how to fold up a church chair

Another week, another email

MONDAY: Holy cow! Crazy miracle. Me and sister Larsen were out knocking, we had about 3 min left of knocking until it would be time to go home. We knocked 2 houses and it was time to head back to the car, sister Larsen said “let's knock one more”. We chose a white house near our car and knocked. A lady answered and said “hey sisters!” Ummm people only call us sisters if they are familiar with who we are… we said “we are going around talking about Jesus Christ” she said “Aren't we in the same ward?” FREAK we accidently knocked into a members house! We played it off and said we wanted to stop by and say hi. We got talking to her and it turns out her family has been inactive for a long time and they are just now coming back to church. AND her kids are wanting take the lessons and get baptized! WHAT! She was saying that she's been wanting to get in contact with us to set up lessons but she didn't know where to get our number from! Such an awesome miracle! We are going to teach their family soon! God is so good

TUESDAY: This was such a fun day! We had our district council meeting, as always, and the STL’s came and we were able to do mini exchanges! So me and sister Larsen got to bring sister Barton around with us for the day, it was the best! We had an awesome lesson with Marco about the plan of salvation, we met a super sweet lady who might be interested in learning more, and the STLs slept over so it was a big sleep over with us 6 Sisters!

WEDNESDAY: Not much happened this day, we had interviews with President Terry, we deep cleaned our house for house checks, and we ate Chick-fil-a

THURSDAY: We weekly planned and did some knocking. The best part of this day was Marco literally putting himself on date to get baptized. We called him to see when we could next meet with him and he straight up just asked “so I want to get to a point where I feel comfortable to get baptized, what do we need to do, and when can I get baptized?” WHAT! Me and sister Larsen were SCREAMING after the call, we were so excited! He is so prepared and ready for this next step in his life.

FRIDAY: We had some service, a lesson with a member, and some knocking. It was such a good day, I felt the spirit so strong throughout the day! Knocking was long this day so me and sister Larsen came up with some games we can play while we knock, so that made the day go by a little faster.

SATURDAY: This day was such a hard day! I started the day off by dressing in a sweater and pants without looking at the weather, thinking it would be a colder day, and it literally got up to 80°. Whoops! And then we got in a bible bash with this old guy, and then everyone was actually super mean this day like slamming doors mean, and any lesson we had planned cancelled. But let me tell you about some miracles I saw! Because God’s hand is everywhere even on the hard days! When we got in a Bible bash we were trying to wrap things up and get out of there but we were lowkey stuck because he just kept talking and talking and honestly we were probably being a little too polite. But it started raining super hard out of no where and so we had an excuse to get going and the second we got in our car the rain stopped and it didn’t rain anymore that day! WHAT. and then another miracle was when we followed a spiritual prompting to turn our car around and talk to this person, and it was someone that had submitted a referral and we had been trying to get in contact with! God is so good! even on the hard days.

Sunday: Such a good day filled with the spirit and lots of lessons! It was the best!

Fun/ Funny things:
♡ our quad had an Easter egg hunt.
♡ a member keeps spamming our phone with memes and quotes
♡ thunderstorms
♡ We are fiends for peanut butter.
♡ we got ice cream after our bash to cheer us up and invite the spirit.
♡ Our friend Davis only knows my last name lol.

He is Risen ๐ŸŒฟ✝️๐Ÿชจ

MONDAY: Such a good day! The weather was perfect, me and Sister Larsen were able to have some amazing pop up lessons, and the people were so nice. One person we talked to was having a hard day and was a little mean in the beginning but after talking to him, his heart was softened and was so nice!

TUESDAY: This day was fun because we drove all the way to and from our meeting with our district with the windows down and blasting music! So many people were so mean this day! But the weather was good, so that made up for it I guess. One guy answered the door, we said “we are going around asking people what they believe about Jesus Christ.” and he said “So you're just going around asking people questions then?” and then closed the door… lol what?

WEDNESDAY: We started the day off strong with a flooding toilet which was the best! We had a lot of rejection this day too, but it’s great because it just helps me become stronger and work on staying positive.

THURSDAY: We got to do our weekly planning which is always so great because it gives us a little break from knocking and it sets our next week up for success. We were supposed to have a lesson with Marco at the church but he didn’t make it. It was still good though because we had a member there, for the lesson, so we got to know her a little more. She was able to invite Marco to an Institute/religion class, and he went! Shout out Maggy, she’s actually so awesome! I also passed off a lesson for part of my training so that was good!

FRIDAY: We knocked for 6½ hours which made for a long day, but it was such a good day! We had so many pop up lessons and I went in with goals to accomplish throughout the day and it gave me something to work towards which made the day go by faster.

SATURDAY: General Conference!!! General conference is my favorite because we got to take a few hours out of our day to listen to our church leaders. The talks were so good and I felt the spirit so strong!

SUNDAY: Easter!!! He is Risen! And General Conference pt 2! This day was super fun because Sisters Larsen, Evans, Hopkins, and I watched all the sessions of conference at the church. We moved the furniture from the foyer into the cultural center and set up a TV to create a comfy place to all watch together! Me and Sister Evans were laughing so hard while moving the furniture we almost peed our pants (or skirts I guess) haha. We were fed by some cute members and Easter is always the best because we get to celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection. Because of Jesus Christ it is possible for all of us to overcome death and live with our loving Heavenly Father and families FOREVER! We are so blessed!

Funny/Fun Moments:
♡ We got so many snacks for conference and ate them ALL.
♡ We got cute goodie bags for Easter and tons of candy!
♡ me and Sister Larsen played an April fools prank on the other sisters by putting clear tape at the bottom of their door to trip them when they walked out. I was on a zoom call with my mentor when Sister Evans tripped on the tape though so I was fighting for my life to not laugh super hard while on the call haha!
♡ The quad hot matching old lady night gowns.
♡ Our toilet broke down again! Bruh.
♡ A guy said while riding his bike past us “The Latter Day Saint Ladies!” Lol
♡ Sister Evans is literally the grandma in Ratatouille.

Matthew 28: 5-7
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

March 30th, 2026

Hello!!! Last week was crazy so I didn’t have time to write an email but here are some highlights:
*Lots and lots and lots of knocking doors ๐Ÿ’€
*We knocked on a door, this guy answered and asked if we were Christian. We said yes, and out of nowhere he SCREAMED “CHECK IT OUT!” so loud, while flipping his whole body around and pointing to a no soliciting sign… and then he calmly walked inside and said “love you guys though” while closing the door.
*We had Zone Conference and they had me film an add for Facebook…
*We had such a good day on Saturday! Lots of pop up lessons and cool people!
Sunday was good the first half of the day! We went to Church, took the Sacrament, had a great lesson. But the second half of the day was so insane!

1.The first person we talked to was a pastor for another church, he walked out with a smile on his face and tried to bash us. During bashes I've been trying to reflect on What Jesus would do or say, so we were able to keep it pretty contention free, he's going to read the Book of Mormon, and I walked away knowing that I was a good example of a representative of Jesus Christ and that I accomplished my missionary purpose! (Which doesn't always happen when there's a bible bash). Also pray for Will's wife! She has cancer and isn't doing well:(
2. Immediately after we got bashed we knocked into this super crazy lady who got all up in our business and was yelling at us about how God isn't real and how she doesn't believe in anything. She thinks that once she dies that's it and that's the end. I asked for her name at the end and she told me “you don't get to know that!” While pointing and shaking her head at me. She was definitely an interesting lady. Me and Sister Larsen couldn't help but laugh after because it was such a weird conversation. It also made me super sad because I couldn't help but see her through God’s eyes and just think about how heartbroken Heavenly Father must be to see his child so lost and have such hatred towards him.
Immediately after that!
3. We knocked on a door, a lady answered and through the storm door glass said “I know who you are!” pointing at us. She said “you're from the Church of Jesus Christ”. We said “Yes we are!” She then held up her finger and with so much sass said “UH UH UH, I AM from the CHURCH of Christ, the ONLY church!” And just sat there shaking her head until we left…

This week:

Monday:  We got to hangout with our district and play pickleball, and some card games! We also ate Subway which was yummy.

Tuesday: We were supposed to have a lesson with Marco at the church but he got into a car crash on the way there. Freaking Satan bro. He asked us “why is it that when I am making good decisions in my life that hard things start to happen?”. Marco is okay, he isn’t hurt but pray that he will be able to find peace in the gospel instead of turning away from it.

Wednesday: This day was pretty awesome! We were in Little Mexico and got to talk to a lot of people who seemed pretty interested and said to come back the next day! One of the people we talked to may have been holding a razor blade the entire conversation but we kept our distance and God kept us safe. Later in the day we got to attend a baptism for a friend of the elders in our district! This was the first baptism I’ve attended for someone over the age of 8. It was the sweetest experience ever! When he came out of the water the spirit was so strong and his smile was so big! His little girl was kneeling down by the glass and she was smiling so big too. He blew her a kiss and she blew one right back through the glass. Me and Sister Evans were just crying. It was amazing getting to see someone making these covenants with God and being so overjoyed.

Thursday: I was so insanely tired! I kept falling asleep during my personal study and anytime I was literally just sitting down. We went back to all the people who said to come back and literally none of them answered their door, so that was my absolute favorite… Some fun parts of this day was seeing a drug deal go down, and almost getting smacked off a porch by a storm door.

Friday: It was freezing and no one was interested :( but it was still a good day! just lots of knocking.

Saturday: Lots of knocking, Sister Larsen Biffed it on a door step, and Marco told us that he loves the Book of Mormon and it’s changed his life! We also ate yummy Braums shakes.

Sunday: nothing eventful, but we had an amazing sacrament meeting and got to talk about palm Sunday.

Fun/Funny:
♡ I'm getting better at introducing myself in Spanish.
♡ I started listening to/reading the Saints book! I love it!
♡ We started a joy wall! We put everything that brought us joy that day on a sticky note and put it up on the wall. There's so much joy everyday!
♡ We had lots of member meals!

God is so good

Oh, I'm so white!

Monday: Our district played wiffle ball, board games, and signed transfer journals (pretty much mission year books). After that we went knocking in Concordia and found a new friend! We spent all night packing up for transfers the next day.

Tuesday: Transfers! Holy cow we got the craziest transfer news. Both me and my trainer were getting transferred and we BOTH got transferred to Valley Center, Wichita! WHAT! I am so happy that I get to stay with Sister Larsen. And guess what! We are living with 2 other sisters! I have always wanted to live in a quad and it’s seriously so fun. The other 2 sisters are the best. It's hard to get to bed on time because we all just love hanging out together. Something so crazy about this transfer is we are opening up a new area. We have no friends that we are teaching and we are starting the area from scratch, so that’s a little stressful but pray we can find lots of people who are ready and prepared to learn about the gospel! We spent the rest of the day unpacking and getting settled in.

Wednesday: We knocked all day which was fun because it was super warm outside, we were fed by members, and we went to our ward's young women’s and got to meet some members which was awesome. This ward is seriously so sweet! I love them so much, they keep us fed and make sure we always have leftovers and snacks at our house.

Thursday: I met my new district, we weekly planned, we were fed again, and then we had a relief society activity at the church. On our way to the activity we got a call from a sweet member, we had just met the day before, and she said that a guy had just walked into the church and was interested in learning more. When we got there we met Marco! Marco is so ready and prepared to learn more about the gospel. He said that he just saw cars in the parking lot and the church lights on and said that he felt like he needed to come in! We gave him a tour of the church and talked about Jesus Christ and his atonement, the sacrament, baptism, and pretty much how our church is run. It was such a good lesson and the best part was Marco recognizing the spirit and he said that it was exactly what he needed! God is so good!

Friday: We pretty much just knocked all day, nothing too exciting happened.

Saturday: We knocked all day in Lil’ Mexico which was hard because everyone speaks Spanish and if you know anything about me you know I don’t speak any espaรฑol. It sucked because even my google translate was betraying me and the conversation pretty much ended after me llamo hermana Alexander, and then uno momento lo siento as I was pulling out my phone for google translate. Anyway, we eventually met someone who spoke English and he was talking about how he was taking lessons from the JWs but we got into a conversation about the bible and Jesus Christ. The spirit must have been there because by the end of our conversation he wanted a copy of the Book of Mormon! God is so good! ALSO Jose got baptized this day!!!! I am so proud of him but so sad I had to leave the area before I could see him get baptized.

Sunday: Marco came to church! and we had another amazing lesson. It got cold again. And we had the yummiest member meal yet!

Fun/Funny moments:
♡ We got fed pizza 3 nights in a row, and still have tons of pizza in our fridge.
♡ The temple is in our area! Pray I'll stay in this area long enough to help open it!
♡ This isn’t fun or funny but I've seen more roadkill since being here in Kansas than I ever have in my entire life and in little Mexico there was a dog who was ran over and has probably been there for over a month.
♡ The first night in our new place there was an insane thunderstorm.
♡ our house has 3 floors and has like no lights anywhere, it gets pretty dark at night haha.
♡ We have a pickleball court across the street from our house.
♡ We have to do a Facebook ad for our mission.
♡ Talked to a JW named Jared. He was a little grumpy to be talking to us, but we said we would look at the JW website if he took a look into ours!
♡ I misheard a man's name because of his thick accent, I thought he said Dano and his name was Daniel, when I found out I said it wrong I accidentally said “oh, I'm so white”. I then spent the next 10 min feeling super bad and embarrassed that I said that.
♡ I've watched the Easter message like 10 times, it's so good! Watch it if you haven't already. I'll add it in my google photos.

Scripture:
“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
—John 15:12–13

GOD IS SO GOOD♡ have the best week
